Reception Venue ~ Carmen’s @ Oakville Conference Centre ~ 10+/10
The food was DELICIOUS, the service was superb, and the staff was amazing!
They were there to accommodate any & everything we ask and/or requested. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue. From our Ceremony to the Reception it was an AWESOME experience! Zorka our co-ordinator was great!
Bridal Salon ~ Bride’s Dress ~ L & J Bridal Boutique ~ 8/10
The Bridal Shop itself was good, just a few ppl there that made the experience okay. Though it was a little pricey, I stuck with them.
Hair & Make-Up ~ Hair & Make-Up by Carolyn McBurney ~ 8/10
Carolyn and her assistant arrived at my house to do my hair & 4 BM’s. She also did my trial, and honestly I have to say overall I wasn’t “completely” satisfied with either my hair nor my make-up. Only 1 of my BM’s was satisfied with her hair, and none of them cared for the make-up. I am not writing this to give her a bad review. This is just my opinion of how the day was for me.
Limo ~ Two of a King Limo ~ 7/10
When we first booked our Limo at the Bridal Show at The Exhibition, they made us feel great! However, I made several telephone calls to them a few times before our big day and they were rude & curt. Then on the Wedding Day the Limo showed up early (good) but was NOT the Limo we requested, and the DVD’s that we requested were not even on the bus!!! When we booked with them, we had booked the “new” 45 seat Luxury Coach. When the Luxury Coach arrived it was an “old” coach that looked “old”! Not what I paid for OR asked for!
DJ ~ DJ Emporium ~ 10/10
The DJ & MC did an amazing job! They did everything the way we wanted and requested. Even though our wedding wasn’t huge, they managed to get people up on the dance floor.
Florist ~ Jennifer Flowers ~ 10/10
The service from the 1st day I went in to the Florist shop to the “many” phone calls & visits made to the shop to change and/or add to my order, their service was “exceptional!
They did an amazing job on all the flowers, they were all exactly as I had ordered & envisioned them, and she was early delivering the flowers the day of my wedding. My bouquet lasted 2 whole weeks!
Photographer ~ Studio Studios ~ 7/10
I had booked with Studio Studios before reading any reviews, and had read some reviews after I had booked with them. The truth is the only good part about this place is their prices. Neither my husband nor I are very photogenic, or are comfortable with our pictures being taken and the pictures can prove it. The engagement pictures turned out okay, but not very fun. The session itself was okay. Basically, it was “stand here” “stand there”, nothing fun, sexy or interesting. The Wedding also was just the same ol’ same ol’ pictures. Nothing fun,interesting,or different.
Officiant ~ Rev. Deborah Coleman ~ 10+/10
Deborah did an AMAZING job with our ceremony. When Sam & I had our first meeting with her, we knew she was going to be awesome! She was very helpful from the start, filling out the forms to calming us both at the ceremony, WOW!!!
I HIGHLY recommend her!
Groom’s & Guy’s Tux ~ Moore’s Clothing for Men ~ 10/10
They did a great job, was easy & effortless.
BM Dresses ~ Becker’s Bridal ~ 9/10
The Bridal Shop was good, though again at this salon a few ppl there made the experience not so good. But the dresses were in on time, that’s all that mattered.
Rings ~ Gente Jeweller ~ 10+/10
A++ this jeweller did a great job custom making my e-ring to my wedding band! So friendly & I will definitely be going there again!
Bride’s Veil ~ Becker’s Bridal ~ 10/10
They did a great job making my veil, I loved it and it was ready in 4 days!
Bombonieres ~ Royalton Gifts ~ 10/10
We bought our Bombonieres from them & they did an excellent job wrapping them all. Very nice!
